Who is Santiago Castillo?

Santiago Castillo Limited was established in 1926 by Santiago Castillo Sr. at the tender age of 19. In 1983, Don Chich as he was affectionately called, passed away, and his wife, Mrs. Addy Castillo took over.

In 2001, Mrs. Addy, known to all employees as Mama, retired and passed the reins of the company to her children, Lorena, President, Santiago Santino CEO, and Addy, Director, and Manager of the Save-U Supermarket.

Over the past 8 decades Santiago Castillo has grown, and attained renowned American, European, and Caribbean agencies making it one of the largest food distributors in Belize.

In 2003, Santiago Castillo Ltd. achieved a milestone by launching its own private label TASTEE, and plans to continue adding more core products to the TASTEE line.

San Cas has solidified its business by providing quality products at competitive prices coupled with professional service, efficient delivery, and integrity in its principles.
